Two Silhouttes
Size: 16x20
This painting by Sushila Pereira captures a peaceful and heartfelt moment between two silhouetted figures walking through a vibrant field. The lower half of the painting is dominated by a textured, golden-yellow wheat field, full of life and movement. Just above the field, the sky transitions into a fiery orange band at the horizon, suggesting either a sunrise or sunset — a time often associated with reflection, endings, and new beginnings.
Spirit World
Size: 16”x20”
This painting by Sushila Pereira portrays a serene and uplifting scene dominated by a bright white dove soaring through a rich blue sky. The dove, painted with textured, detailed wings, is illuminated by a radiant sun peeking through the clouds in the upper left. The bird seems to emerge from a dark shadowy background on the left side of the painting, symbolizing perhaps a journey from darkness into light.
Grand Rising
Size: 16”x20”
This painting captures a dramatic and vivid sunset over a large body of water. The sky is divided into striking layers: the upper portion features dark, almost stormy clouds brushed with fiery reds and deep blacks. Below that, a soft band of light blue and pale yellow separates the heavy clouds from the horizon, suggesting the last bits of daylight fading away.
Free Flowing Thoughts
Size: 18”x24”
Sushila Pereira says, “This painting makes me feel lighter because all my hidden feelings are out of my heart and onto the canvasA dynamic interplay of molten reds, fiery oranges, and deep violets cascade over cool blue expanses, evoking the meeting of elemental forces. Using a fluid, drip-based technique, Sushila creates a sense of gravity and motion, where color flows and mingles in organic, unpredictable patterns. The work captures both tension and harmony — a frozen moment in the perpetual movement of nature’s energy.
Pyramids of Egypt
Size: 16”x20”
The piece feels like a quiet homage to the eternal presence of the pyramids. The choice of warm, earthy tones anchors the viewer in the sand and soil of the time — it feels like you’re standing at the edge of ancient history
Sailing towards the Light
Size: 16" x 20"
Sushila Pereira, “This one gives me a calm feeling as I sail into the evening sky. Feeling mysterious as I don’t know where I’m going to end up”

PANDEMIC 2020
Nobody could have predicted the way 2020 has turned out. Mandatory masks, social distance and the loss of millions of lives over a short period of time. In this time, we have seen all kinds of creativity emerge and online commerce has taken on its own form. Live art workshops have allowed us to connect with each other across the globe and I'm so fortunate to have my friends and family join us every two weeks. Keep spreading love, peace & joy.
CHRISTMAS DAY, 2018
It's different this Christmas. It feels like people are compensating for the darkness within their hearts, by putting up bright lights everywhere. I want to work with people who are less fortunate and give them my time and energy. That would feel like Christmas to me. It is with that hope that I step into 2019. With your help, I am going to make a difference in building a community where hope lives, grows and travels through art.
YOU CAN DO IT TOO
Painting isn't as difficult as you might think. It's not easy either. Starting March 26th, 2019, we will be conducting art workshops in Toronto. Don't talk about your situation, just paint it. Pouring your feelings onto canvass is a gift we're all capable of. You can do it too!
